Day 1-2: Entebbe Arrival at Entebbe International Airport. Note: We have a dedicated flight partner who can help find and book the best international flights for you. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation, settling in after your flight. Overnight: Karibu Entebbe (1 night) Day 2-4: Murchison Falls National Park After breakfast, you'll begin your safari, driving to the Murchison Falls National Park, and stopping for a guided walk at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon, before heading out on a walk to the top of the falls. Overnight: Murchison River Lodge (2 nights) Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking You have an early start this morning with a transfer to Budongo for your thrilling chimpanzee trek. You'll have a short briefing before setting off into the forest in search of your allocated chimp family. You'll spend an hour with them, before returning to your lodge for lunch. An afternoon boat cruise will take you along the Nile River as the sun sets. Day 4-6: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the nearby airstrip and board a light aircraft flight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You'll be collected from the airstrip and taken to your lodge, settling in for the afternoon. Overnight: Haven Lodge (2 nights) Day 5: Gorilla Trekking Today you have a thrilling wildlife experience: Gorilla Trekking. Your morning starts with breakfast and a short briefing at the park HQ. You'll then set off deep into the forest searching for your allocated gorilla family. Spend 1 magical hour with them, before heading back to your lodge. You will have time to freshen up and relax this afternoon before commencing the Batwa Community Walk. This three-hour Community walk unveils the local people living close to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest plus their culture. You will gain knowledge of their cultural ways including locally made arts & crafts, dances, traditional cooking, and herbal medicines. At the end of this walk you will meet the Batwa People, the original inhabitants of Bwindi Forest. Day 6-8: Lake Mburo National Park After breakfast, you depart for the Lake Mburo National Park, arriving in the afternoon with time for an afternoon game drive and night drive. Overnight: Rwakobo Rock (2 nights) Day 7: Lake Mburo National Park Today is an early start to maximise the chances of wildlife sightings. A ranger will join you as you explore the park in the early morning. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast. After taking some time to relax, head out on a boat safari across Lake Mburo. Day 8-9: Entebbe After breakfast, you will head out on a guided bush walk. You may encounter hyenas returning to their dens and hippos retreating to the lake, Zebras, and Antelopes. Hikes through the woodland provide an opportunity to sight forest birds and mammals. Following your walk and breakfast, you'll begin your journey to Entebbe, stopping for lunch en route. On arrival in Entebbe, you will be transferred to your accommodation with the rest of your day at leisure. Overnight: Karibu Entebbe (1 night) Day 9: Entebbe Today you will be transferred to Entebbe Airport, bidding farewell to the Pearl of Africa.
